Chapter 5

" Wutt ?!" Jasmine said confused

"This is your biological mother " Safaree said with his head down

" biological ?! " Jasmine tried to repeat

" Your real mother " Nicki said to her

" How ?" Jasmine looked at nicki then back a niyah " I look nothing like her "

Safaree knew that was a lie.. Jasmine and Niyah did have some similarities. But he knew their personality was way different. Jasmine was Nicki all day.

" Safaree do you want to explain ?!" Nicki said trying to stay calm... she knew if she had to explain she would start busting out crying.

" I will.." Niyah said

Everyone looked at Niyah waiting for her to speak

" Well is somebody gonna tell me or not ...." Jasmine said wanting to know what was going on

Safaree looked at jasmine... he decided not to say anything to her because she was already going to this situation. but he made sure he would get her about it later.

Niyah looked at her daughter and spoke " Jasmine... basically i was going thru alot at the time when i had you... they had to take me away to get help... Nicki & Safaree promised to take care of you. i told them i would only be gone for a little while.. but it turned about to be 6 years. "

" How did you know my mom? " Jasmine said to niyah

" IM YOUR MOTHER ! Nicki is just your Aunt ! " Niyah screamed

" Who the hell are you screaming at ?! " Nicki stood up and safaree went over to her

" YOU ! BECAUSE YOU MADE MY DAUGHTER SEEM LIKE SHE WAS YOUR DAUGHTER ! WHEN YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO JUST SEEM LIKE AN AUNT ! " Niyah screamed

" CAN EVERYBODY JUST SHUT UP AND TELL ME WHATS GOING ON !!" Jasmine cried and got up and went upstairs to her room.
Everyone downstairs heard a door slam and then they all looked at each other

" This is why i told ya ass to behave niyah ! " Safaree was mad & sad at the same time, you could tell he was trying not to cry.

Neither niyah or nicki said anything\

"Safaree...." Nicki started out but was cut off by him " Just give me a minute nicki.. please " Safaree went up and gave nicki a kiss then went upstairs  to Jasmine's room.

Nicki wipes the tears that had managed to drop from her eyes then went into the kitchen and sat at the island .

*Upstairs*

Safaree knocked on Jasmine door waiting for a response, he heard the sound of light crying. so he decided to just walk in.

"Baby girl ?" Safaree said as he seen jasmine crying into her pillow.

He kept his self together. he hated seeing his daughter like this..

he sat on the egde of her bed and picked her up and put her on his lap, she kept her hands over her eyes.

"Daddy whats going on, do i have to go with her ?" jasmine said in a cry voice . ( if that made sense...)

"Do you want to?!" safaree asked

" Noooo daddy i wanna stay with yall ! !" jasmine said wide-eyed " please !! "

" Ok, i promise you can J" safaree looked up

" How did yall know her ? why did yall take me ? was i at one of them buildings where kids go to get new parents ?!" Jasmine said out of breath

"J-bear ... i really need you to calm down, i swear i will answer all your questions.." safaree said

" Sorry "

" Ok, so me & Niyah went out,thats how we knew her .."

" So you ARE my real daddy ?" jasmine said finally smiling a little bit

" No, but you will forever be my daughter . i dont care what anybody says " safaree answered

" but you said you were going out w/ nyla " jasmine said with a straight face

Safaree smiled at her " Its niyah, but she was going with another guy and i didnt know."

"Oh, so what happen after i was born?" Jasmine had stopped crying a little.

" She was going thru ALOT! lets just say that, so she asked me and nicki if we could watch you for a little while ... we agreed, and now she just came back" Safaree answered

"So can i still call you dad & nicki mom ? " jasmine asked

" Suree Cann ! "

" What do i call niyah?"

"Hmm ask nicki about that ! " safaree said clueless

" mkayy ! but  wheres my bio....whats that word you used daddy?" Jasmine asked

" Biological ?" Safaree looked at her " Yea ! wheres my biologic dad ?"

" To be honest,, i dont know J, you have to ask niyah .."

" Can you ask her for me ?"

" No J, you & her need to talk... i know she's been away for a while but yall need to have some type of communication, can you do that for me ?"

Jasmine sighed.... "Mmkay "

" K, go wipe ya face off and meet me in my room" Safaree said getting up and kissing jasmine forehead and letting her off his lap

" Mkay, " jasmine walked out of the room but then stopped and ran back to safaree

" Thanks DaddY" She hugged him

Safaree smiled, picked her up and returned the hug  "anytime J "

he put her down and she continued to the bathroom.

*Safaree 's Room *

Safaree looked in his closet and grabbed a box from his top closet. he rarely went in this box but he did for jasmine.

He heard jasmine coming, she knocked first this time, Safaree smirked and said "Come in"

Jasmine seen the box safaree had in front of him, she remembered when he told her never to touch the box.

" Come here safaree said holding a chain in his hand "

Jasmine walked over to safaree, and let him put the chain on her. " Whats this for ?"

" For taking this situation so well, i was nervous about how you were gonna act "

Jasmine smiled..." who's chain is this ?"

" Its mine.. my grandmother gave it to me a while back... my very first real chain !"

" And your letting me wear it ?!?!!?" Jasmine said excited

" Yup ! " safaree said

" Thaanksss Daddyyyyyy !! " Jasmine hugged safaree once again and he picked her up and she kissed him on the cheek

" This should also help you with your very first real conversation w/ your biological mother" Safaree smiled and kissed her forehead

Jasmine smiled and held the bottom of the chain in her hand

" There are some rules with this chain..!"

" Ugh what are they ?!" jasmine smiled

" No eating with the chain on, no sleeping with the chain on, especially because you sleep wild , no playing games with the chain on, understood?"

" Understood...." jasmine answered

" Oh ! & Do NOT Let Nicki touch it, she tends to break every chain one of MY chains she touches" safaree said putting emphasis on "MY"

They both laughed and jasmine said "Mmkayy ! "

"You ready ?"

"yup !"

*DOWNSTAIRS*

Niyah walked in the kitchen holding the tissues she was using to wipe her tears ..

' the trash is over there " nicki said pointing to the trash

" Nicki can we talk?" Niyah said throwing the tissues away

" I guess " Nicki said

Niyah sat on the other end of the island

" Look Nic,, Im Sorry For Causing all of this.. its all my fault"

Nicki looked at her " So what are we gonna do?"

" I was gonna take jasmine and we could be out " Niyah answered

" If that aint some bitch ass shit !! " nicki got up and went to the fridge

" You know Jasmine is not gonna wanna leave me and safaree ..." nicki opened the fridge and got a strawberry kiwi snapple

" Why isnt she ?!" Niyah asked

Nicki looked at her..." Im really not in the mood for the stupidity today Ma'am"

" Jasmine has a CONNECTION with us ! How would you feel if some random girl came and took you away from ur parents when you were little ?!"

Niyah didnt say anything, she just sat there thinking..

"Yeah.. think about that and get back to me about what were gonna do" Nicki got up and went and sat on the couch.

Safaree & Jasmine walked downstairs seeing nicki sitting on the couch they both went and sat near her

" Where Niyah Go?" Safaree said

" In the kitchen " Nicki answered

" K, Go Ahead Jasmine.. " Jasmine got up and started walking in the kitchen, she held the chain safaree gave her and sat next to her biological mom at the island

Nicki looked At Safaree " I Love You Faree "

" I Love You To Onika"
